Purpose
Continuous slope-area (CSA) sensors collect stage data in two reaches downstream from streamgage 09471580. CSA 09471587 - Dragoon Wash above San Pedro River at St David, AZ, is instrumented with CSA sensors at three cross sections. CSA 09471588 - San Pedro River below Dragoon Wash at St David, AZ, is located downstream from the confluence of Dragoon Wash and the San Pedro River and is instrumented with CSA sensors at four cross sections. The CSA reaches were installed to measure peak discharge for stage-discharge rating development for streamgage 09471580. The CSA sensors were installed on June 21, 2018. A GPS survey was conducted on July 10, 2018, to document the CSA pin elevations and cross section geometry at the CSA sensor locations.
