The data were collected to assess the accuracy of using factory-calibrated models of Sequoia Scientific’s LISST-ABS as a surrogate for measuring the suspended-sediment concentration (SSC) in a dynamic fluvial system such as a river. Laboratory-analyzed SSC data from physical samples, as well as turbidity and percent fines data, were collected for comparison with the LISST-ABS.
