Summary

Total carbon and nitrogen concentrations, and delta carbon-13 and delta nitrogen-15 stable isotope ratios, were determined in sediment samples to potentially identify the sources of organic matter in the sediment and any post-depositional diagenetic alteration of the organic matter over time.
