The 2019 Middle Southeast Blueprint (v 3.0) project worked to update and improve the Southeast Conservation Blueprint for the entire states of Arkansas, Louisiana & Mississippi, as well as portions of Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky and Illinois. The inputs used for this update include terrestrial and aquatic habitat assessments, species distribution information, sociological data (i.e., land ownership and partner priority areas), and change risk information (i.e., urbanization and sea-level rise). The primary product of this update was the Conservation Value Index map, which was the input to Southeast Blueprint 4.0 for this subregion.
