Album caption: This stela was found by S.G. Morley on March 6, 1923 in the niche in the stairway of El Caracol. There are 132 hieroglyphs carved on the front, both ends and the top and it is the longest text yet found at Chichen Itza. Probable date-about 1100 A.D. C.I.W. 1923.
