Laurentian Great Lakes

Summary

The Laurentian Great Lakes, also referred to as the Great Lakes or Great Lakes of North America, are a series of large interconnected freshwater lakes in the upper mid-east region of North America which drain into the Atlantic Ocean through the Saint Lawrence River. In general, they are located on or near the Canada-United States border.
