Summary

This data release contains digital data generated by the U.S. Geological Survey under cooperative agreements with Sonoma County Water Agency and the California State Water Resources Control Board to characterize the three-dimensional hydrogeology and water quality of the Russian River Watershed, located in the northern part of the California Coast Ranges section of the Pacific Border province. This dataset contains borehole lithologic and hydrologic data used to support development of the framework model . The borehole dataset is released as a series of .csv ascii files including (1) individual borehole location and construction information, (2) downhole lithologic interval data derived from well driller’s lithology logs and parsed [...]

Purpose

Wells were compiled to provide data in the Russian River watershed to create a 3D hydrogeologic framework model. This model helps better understand the hydrogeology of the Russian River watershed.
