Purpose

These data are a comprehensive, statewide representation of all roads in Wyoming, USA that existed prior to September 2015. The data set is appropriate for research and analysis that requires a high spatial accuracy (+/- 10 meters) of roads in Wyoming that includes a classification of the road type for each feature. The Bureau of Land Management, other land managers, and researchers can use these new statewide roads data set products to support important studies and management decisions regarding land use changes, transportation and planning needs, transportation safety, wildlife applications, and other studies.
