Summary

This Context Camera (CTX) digital terrain model (DTM) was created for quantitative measurements of sinuous ridges on the surface of Mars, using stereo CTX image pair D04_028799_1568_XN_23S285W and D05_029221_1568_XN_23S285W. It is centered on a crater informally named "Crater L" by Moore and Howard (2005), which contains multiple alluvial fans and sinuous ridges.

Purpose

Data repository for digital elevation models generated during projects supported by NASA through the Mars Data Analysis Program: Mapping Sinuous Ridges and Estimating Runoff Rates in Northwest Hellas, Mars (grant NNH14ZDA001N-MDAP14_2-0108), Using the Martian Geologic Record to Constrain Past Climate Conditions (grant 80NSSC19K1216) and Re-examination of the Martian Lacustrine History (grant 80NSSC20K0944).
