Nichols in the Donnelly and Fairbanks districts, Yukon region, the Gulkana, Klutina, Kuskulana and Sanford districts, Copper River region, the Seward and Valdez districts, Alaska Gulf region and the Anchorage and Tustumena districts, Cook Inlet region, Alaska. The photographs cover July 1954 through December 1954.

Water emanates from under vegetation mat and over bedrock and freezes when it falls, filling ditch. Icings extend in almost uninterrupted falls from18.5 miles to 19 miles.
