Collection of data from the Lead-Zinc District of Northwestern Illinois. Collection includes borehole data, driller logs, descriptive logs, formation tops, and downhole lead, zinc, and iron concentrations from mining operations circa 1900-1980. Sources of the collection include original mining company records and maps, maps and logs from the US Bureau of Mines "Illinois Mineral Development Atlas", and Illinois State Geological Survey records.
