Summary

The Montana Bureau of Mines and Geology (MBMG) compiled and maintains historical, engineering and geologic reports, pictures, correspondence, news clippings, and production information for over 4,400 property-specific records. A record or file may contain information related to a particular mining claim, a collection of claims, or a mining exploration project. The Mining Property File records are organized by Montana county and mine or project name.
