TIF and JPG scans of most of the 1930s-1950s index maps are available online via the Johns Hopkins University (JHU) JScholarship website here:
https://jscholarship.library.jhu.edu/handle/1774.2/36422 . The index maps are found on the webpage titled “Aerial Photography – Other Maryland Counties”.
Request Digital Images -- There are 2 ways to request digital images: 1) Make a request to the MGS Publications Office (410-554-5500) for JP2, JPG, and TIF images (free); or 2) Submit the Maryland State Archives (MSA) online form here:
https://shop.msa.maryland.gov/orders/pages/orders.aspx -- choose "Other Record" to bring up the "Other Record Order Form". Fill out the form and make sure to select "Other" and specify the type of digital image (JP2, JPG, TIF) requested in the "Type of Record" field. Cost = $35 per digital image.
Request Photocopies -- Submit the MSA online form here:

Request to View the Paper Photographs in Person -- Email MSA at
msa.helpdesk@maryland.gov and specify the photograph of interest and desired viewing date.
