Album caption: Panorama with image 806. Gravel pit in abrupt east slope of Lime Creek Valley. "Iowan" till brown and leached 1/2- 1 1/2 feet; "Iowan" till, light buff, calcareous 1-2 1/2 feet; Contact very uneven. Fresh, clean, calcareous, cross-bedded gravel and sand (Buchanan?) 8+ feet. Ten miles northwest of Mason City. Lincoln Township, SW1/4, Sec. 1, T. 97 N., R. 21 W. Cerro Gordo County, Iowa. July 23, 1914.
