Summary

Representative outcrop of Locomotive fanglomerate about 1,000 feet southeast of the open cut of New Cornelia mine. Boulders are composed of monzonite and volcanics (Concentrator volcanics) in reddish matrix of similar material. Hammer is about 18 inches long. Dip is about 60 degrees S. Pima County, Arizona. 1932. Plate 6-A, in U.S.Geological Survey Professional paper 209. 1946.
