Purpose
Preservation and access to valuable and unique subsurface geological data that are essential to understanding rock type and properties to be used by the public, geoscience students, scientific researchers, and industry and governmental agencies to acquire data toward natural resource identification, management, protection and development.
This collection record was derived from a survey of State Geological Survey organizations conducted under the National Geological and Geophysical Data Preservation Program.
