Purpose

The New York Water Science Center strives to be the principal provider of hydrologic and related environmental science data and information essential to protecting and managing the State's water resources. The information the NYWSC provides is policy relevant but impartial. The data and information are important to a range of Federal, State, County, and local government policy makers, resource managers, scientists, and the public.
