Geological Survey of Alabama Cenozoic fossil collection

Collection includes macro-fossil specimens of Cenozoic age. Multiple specimens of the same genera are available. Specimens are stored in trays within cabinets. Fossils in this collection were amassed over many years of geological investigations conducted by Geological Survey of Alabama staff. This collection does not include Cenozoic fossils collected by Lyman Toulman, a Cenozoic Gulf Coastal plain paleontologist and stratigrapher.
