Guide to collection contents

• Items in the collection with titles and dates for 2005 come from a process that examined each State Wildlife Action Plan and extracted species names into a simple data format. The attached files on 2005 items are the result of that process that are loaded into an integrated database.
• Items in the collection with titles and dates for 2015 come from a process where the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies (AFWA) requested the states to fill out a spreadsheet template with their Species of Greatest Conservation Need in 2015 and provide it to the USGS for integration and taxonomic alignment.
• This collection item contains two file attachments that combined all state lists in 2005 and 2015 for loading into the database and application programming interface used to drive the SWAP/SGCN application.
