The data release provides a spatial data set representing the agricultural irrigated land-use for Okeechobee County, Florida for the period between November 2016 and September 2017. The spatial data was prepared as part of a cooperative study between the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) in an effort to field-verify each irrigated field and to provide a set of attributes to each field, including crop type, current irrigation system, and the primary water source.
