Purpose

Microgravity data from Yellowstone are collected to assess changes over time, which may be related to mass variations in the subsurface. These mass variations may indicate movement of water or magma beneath the surface, which can aid knowledge of volcanic processes and hazards and inform interpretations of volcanic and hydrothermal activity.
