Data collected at shallower depths by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) and California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB) have a spatial resolution of 2 m per pixel, whereas data collected at deeper depths by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI) have a spatial resolution of 5-m per pixel.
