This dataset is comprised of three files containing northing, easting, and elevation ("XYZ") information for light detection and ranging (LiDAR) data representing beach topography and sonar data representing near-shore bathymetry of Lake Superior at Minnesota Point, Duluth, Minnesota. The point data is the same as that in LAS (industry-standard binary format for storing large point clouds) files that were used to create a digital elevation model (DEM) of the approximately 5.9 square kilometer (2.3 square mile) surveyed area. This data provides an estimated raster surface of dissolved oxygen values across a region covered by an August 23, 2016 AUV survey. The raster was generated by using a natural neighbors interplator within a GIS on the empirical data set. This interpolator was chosen due to the non-normal distribution observed among the data, and its ability to produce smoother approximations than alternative interpolation methods. There are three files available for download in the 'Attached Files' section below. There is a zip file which contains the interpolated dissolved oxygen surface, an xml file which contains metadata, and a layer file which can be used to import the layer's symbology.
The US Geological Survey Chesapeake Bay Watershed Land Cover Data Series, 2011 edition, (CBLCD-e11) consists of Level I Land Cover data for the years 1984, 1992, 2001, 2006 and 2011. It consists of a series of five 8-bit unsigned integer raster data files of 30 meter spatial resolution in Albers Conic Equal Area projection, NAD83 datum. The 1984 – 2006 data layers were created by aggregating most Level II Anderson classes of the USGS CBLCD Land Cover Data Series released in 2010 (Irani and Claggett, 2010).

This dataset contains photographs keyed to station points along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia. Photographs are titled and arranged by 7.5-minute quadrangle, and station points are located in the "Detailed geologic mapping geodatabase for the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia." The first part of the photograph's filename corresponds to the FieldID attribute of the PhotoPoints entity in the Blue Ridge Parkway Geodatabase. The objective of the field work was to evaluate the quality and cost of mapping from UAS images. Low-altitude (approximately 120 meters above ground level) digital images were obtained from cameras in a fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) flown from the lawn adjacent to the Coast Guard Beach parking lot on 1 March, 2016. The dataset contains the environmental data collected for the Triangle Area Water Supply Monitoring Project. The data are from the samples collected during routine and storm-runoff sampling events during October 2013 through September 2015. Several study sites contained in this dataset were sampled for other USGS projects during the same time frame. Unless the samples at these sites were collected in conjunction with the Triangle Area Water Supply Monitoring Project, the data for other projects at these sites are not included in this dataset.
This dataset contains stream-stage data for Santa Cruz River at Tumacácori Downstream Site (SC11). The pressure transducer was mounted to a metal post secured in the stream near the left bank. The data were recorded using non-vented Solinst Levelogger for the period of June 16, 2016 to June 24, 2016. The data were logged continuously at a 15-minute interval and manually downloaded. Data were then corrected with the atmospheric pressure collected from a Solinst Barologger located at SC14. The data was processed and analyzed for erroneous data.

To improve our understanding of health and immune function in tortoises, we evaluated both standard blood diagnostic (body condition, hematologic, plasma biochemistry values, trace elements, plasma proteins, vitamin A levels) and gene transcription profiles in 21 adult tortoises (11 clinically abnormal; 10 clinically normal) from Clark County, NV, USA.
