In June and September 2022, NV5 Geospatial collected aerial imagery and near-infrared (NIR) lidar from crewed aircraft over 34 square kilometers of headwater streams in the Breitenbush River Basin in northwestern Oregon. Repeat aerial imagery and NIR lidar data were collected over an area spanning from the northern slope of Triangulation Peak to the mainstem Breitenbush River near the confluence of the North Fork and South Fork Breitenbush rivers. Several headwater streams were covered in the survey, including Devils Creek, Hill Creek, Leone Creek, and Skunk Creek. This data release includes orthoimagery and lidar data, including point clouds, bare-earth elevation rasters, and intensity rasters, from both June and...

This data release contains the model inputs, outputs, and source code (written in R) for a redeveloped PRObability of Streamflow PERmanence (PROSPER) model (version 2.0) that had previously been developed for the Pacific Northwest Region (PROSPER_PNW_2), and a raster data set which shows where influential predictor values were outside the range of calibration data. The PROSPER-PNW model, a random forest model, was redeveloped in the Ranger R package using all the original model inputs consistent with PROSPER_PNW_2 to produce annual streamflow permanence probabilities for calendar years 2004-2016 at a 30-meter stream grid resolution that approximately corresponds to flowlines consistent with the National Hydrography...

Presented here are bathymetric data collected at Otter Creek near Oregon, Ohio. Data were collected on September 26, 2023, and were located bewtween the Millard Avenue bridge and the mouth at Lake Erie. The survey was completed using an acoustic Doppler current profiler (ADCP) that was deployed from the side of a kayak. Data were georeferenced using a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) smart antenna with submeter accuracy. Data were collected along the thalweg and at cross sections spaced approximately every 300 feet. Data were processed first using WinRiver II (https://hydroacoustics.usgs.gov/movingboat/WinRiverII.shtml) and then using the bathymetry batch tool in the Velocity Mapping Toolbox (https://hydroacoustics.usgs.gov/movingboat/VMT/VMT.shtml)....

Surface electrical resistivity tomography (ERT) data were collected in September of 2018 near Ollalie North springs in the upper McKenzie River watershed of west-central Oregon. ERT data were acquired along a single transect on the north bank of Ollalie Creek using a combination of inverse Schlumberger, dipole-dipole, and Wenner arrays. These data were collected to contribute high-resolution subsurface information about the geologic structure and distribution of groundwater near high-discharge springs in the Oregon High Cascades. This data release includes the raw resistivity data, inverted resistivity models, and locational information.

This product is a georectified and tonally balanced mosaic of aerial photographs collected in 1938 by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation along the floodplain of the Colorado River in Mohave Valley region of Arizona, California and Nevada. This dataset is a primary resource for the development of a geologic map showing the floodplain and river channel characteristics along the Colorado River in Mohave Valley prior to extensive impact from flow regulation by Hoover Dam. Georeferencing of individual photographs and mosaic generation were performed by Digital Aerial Solutions, LLC. In addition to the mosaic, the data release also includes individual digital aerial photographs (original scans and georeferenced) that cover...

In June and September, 2022, NV5 Geospatial collected aerial imagery and near-infrared (NIR) lidar from crewed aircraft over 62 square kilometers over headwater streams in the Donner und Blitzen River watershed in southeastern Oregon. Repeat data were collected along Mud Creek and Bridge Creek on the western slope of Steens Mountain. This data release includes orthoimagery and lidar data, including point clouds, bare-earth elevation rasters, and intensity rasters, from both June and September 2022, and a tiling index.

This data release contains foreshore slopes for primarily open-ocean sandy beaches along the United States portion of the Gulf of Mexico (Texas through Florida). The slopes were calculated while extracting shoreline position from lidar point cloud data collected between 2001 and 2018. The shoreline positions have been previously published, but the slopes have not. An alongshore reference baseline was defined, and then 20-meter spaced cross-shore beach transects were created perpendicular to the baseline. All data points within 1 meter (alongshore) of each transect were associated with that transect. For each transect, the points on the foreshore were identified, and a linear regression was fit through the foreshore...
