Real-time kinematic survey of the Lower Pearl River bathymetry collected in 2014 and 2015 using: •Leica Smartnet Network •GS 14 Rover •CS 15 Controller •Seafloor single beam echo sounder & transducer Acquisition Strategy: zig zag coverage - not more than ½ channel width between successive bank passes. Duration: surveyed in fall 2014 and 2015. Dates of acquisition are included for 2015 collected data but were not consistently recorded for 2014 collected data. All 2014 data were collected between Sep - Dec 2014. Ping rate: 2014: every sec 2015: every 5 ft of movement Spatial data includes bottom elevation in meters and an NHD area file that has been revised to more accurately reflect the channel configuration....

The Streams and Rivers Condition Index is a broad ecological system index that classifies the landscape’s streams and river catchments into condition categories. The classification of the landscape in this manner is used to measure the relative departure of current wildlife habitat conditions from desired conditions as defined by parcel-level wildlife managers and landscape planners. The purpose of the index is to help practitioners determine appropriate next actions in each catchment, especially when used in conjunction with relevant species information. There are four condition categories, or classes, which range from the most ideal habitat conditions to the least ideal habitat conditions.

This file depicts habitat suitability index score for Balduina atropurpurea. The file has been rescaled to 0-100 values from original 0-1 by applying a factor of 100.
ABSTRACT: The USFWS supports State Fish & Wildlife Agencies in their efforts to conserve species. For the past year, the USFWS (staff of Science Applications and Ecological Services) have been working informally with staff of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission to develop a process for designating Conservation Opportunity Areas (i.e. priority areas) for inclusion in their State Wildlife Action Plan. Prototype maps have been developed based on species distributions combined with habitat condition and change information contained in the Southeast Conservation Adaptation Strategy Blueprint. This project will help the Commission to work more strategically to conserve species, as well as help USFWS streamline regulatory...

Habitat suitabiity index for Rhynchospora crinipes. Values are rescaled with a 100 factor from original 0-1 range. Full description can be found a the article "Ramirez-Reyes, C. et al. (in review at the Natural Areas Journal). Ensemble species distribution model identifies survey opportunities for at-risk bearded beaksedge (Rhynchospora crinipes) in the southeastern United States"
In 2020, the Middle Southeast Blueprint was updated on several fronts to improve the Southeast Conservation Blueprint for the entire states of Arkansas, Louisiana & Mississippi, as well as portions of Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky and Illinois. In the 2020 update, the number of Federal trust species distributions used to calculate the Species Index increased from 358 to 956. In addition, the Conservation Hubs (partner focus areas) layer was updated to include Priority Amphibian & Reptile Conservation Areas (PARCAs) for Louisiana and Tennessee. Third, the Risk Index was simplified to a 3-class index from a 4-class index, and the classes were applied to 1-kilometer hexegon...
This set of spatial data products refines and improves the Conservation Blueprint 1.0 product developed by the Gulf Coastal Plains and Ozarks Landscape Conservation Cooperative. The principal improvement is the elimination of spatially contradictory information about the distribution of habitat for targeted wildlife species across the landscape. Each of the ecological assessments for terrestrial broadly defined habitats was reproduced using a single integrated map based on ecological systems and measurable landscape attributes. For each terrestrial broadly defined habitat, an independent assessment was produced using two large landscape targets, two measures of habitat condition, and two measures of potential to...
