Quaternary gravel resting on eroded surface of the lower part of the Tullock member of the Lance formation on Box Elder Creek, Sec. 13, T. 5 N., R. 35 E., this gravel covers the main divides and higher hills in the northern part of the Tullock Creek field. Where it reaches a maximum thickness of 90 feet, though unconsolidated in some localities, in others it is a conglomerate, as shown in this view. Treasure County, Montana. 1912.
