Using publicly available data for Madison and Oneida counties, New York, a series of geospatial overlays were created at 1:24,000 scale to examine the bedrock geology, groundwater table, soils, and surficial geology. Bedrock and surficial geology were refined using extant bedrock maps, well and borehole data from water- and gas-wells, soil data, and lidar data. The U.S. Geological Survey's (USGS) SPAtially Referenced Regression On Watershed attributes (SPARROW) model was used to estimate baseflow changes from historical (1984 - 2012) to thirty-year periods centered around 2030, 2050, and 2080 under warm/wet, median, and hot/dry climatic conditions. SPARROW is a spatially explicit hybrid statistical and process-based model that estimates mean baseflow over the simulation period in streams by linking monitoring data with information on watershed characteristics and baseflow sources, routed through a stream network. Images were collected using an unmanned aerial system over the bluffs of eastern shore of Lake Michigan in Miami Park rural residential area, Allegan County, MI. Images were collected in four separate instances on July 9, August 10, September 1, and October 18, 2019 and cover similar extent. Images were collected to monitor active bluff erosion in the area. The images are presented here in zipped files grouped by month and collection. The images were collected in jpg format and include Exif metadata with GPS date, time, and latitude and longitude, copyright, keywords, and other fields. These files were used in structure-from-motion (SfM) processing to obtain georeferenced 3D data.

This data release consists of lakebed temperature data collected at the sediment-water interface at the north end of Haskell Lake, Lac du Flambeau Reservation, Wisconsin. Data were collected using a fiber-optic distributed temperature sensor (DTS) during a 5 day period from July 27 to August 1, 2016. Established procedures were followed to estimate lakebed temperatures from the raw DTS data and calibration baths of known temperatures. This data release includes the raw DTS (Stokes and anti-Stokes intensity) data, a shape file of the DTS cable location, photos from the field deployment, and python code for reproducing the full workflow described as part of U.S. Geological Survey Scientific Investigations Report 2020-5005....

Data were collected between 2013 and 2022 in a research area of the Everglades known as the Decompartmentalization Physical Model (DPM), a wetland area in the central Everglades that includes canals and levees bordering Water Conservation Area 3A (WCA-3A) to the northwest and Water Conservation Area 3B (WCA-3B) to the southeast. During the study more than ten major controlled flow releases occurred by opening the S-152 culverts on canal L-67A that released experimental high flows through the wetland.
