Sage-grouse habitat areas divided into proposed management categories within Nevada and California project study boundaries. HABITAT CATEGORY DETERMINATION The process for category determination was directed by the Nevada Sagebrush Ecosystem Technical team. Sage-grouse habitat was determined from a statewide resource selection function model and first categorized into 4 classes: high, moderate, low, and non-habitat. Hurricane Sandy directly hit the Atlantic shoreline of New Jersey during several astronomical high tide cycles in late October, 2012. The eastern seaboard areas are subject to sea level rise and increased severity and frequency of storm events, prompting habitat and land use planning changes. This data set is a complete digital hydrologic unit boundary layer of the Subbasin (10-digit) 5th level for the entire United States, clipped to the Northeast. A hydrologic unit (HU) is a drainage area delineated to nest a multi-level, hierarchical drainage system. Its boundaries are defined by a hydrographic and topographic criteria that delineate an area of land upstream from a specific point on a river, stream, or similar surfaces waters. An HU can accept surface water directly from upstream drainage areas, and indirectly from associated surface areas such as remnant, non-contributing, and diversions to form a drainage area with single or multiple outlet points. A vector polygon GIS file of all city and town boundaries in New York State. The file was originally a compilation of U.S. Geological Survey 1:100,000-scale digital vector files and NYS Department of Transportation 1:24,000-scale and 1:75,000-scale digital vector files. Boundaries were revised to 1:24,000-scale positional accuracy and selectively updated based on municipal boundary reviews, court decisions and NYS Department of State Local Law filings for annexations, dissolutions, or incorporations. Currently, boundary changes are made based on NYS Department of State Local Law filings (http://locallaws.dos.ny.gov/). Additional updates and corrections are made as needed in partnership with municipalities.
