This data represents areas of forest damage due to insect infestation, fire, flood, landslides, and windthrow. The information was collected by aerial surveys by both the USFS and ADNR, Div. of Forestry in cooperation with the Forest Health Protection (FHP) project. Surveys are conducted primarily in July and August so that pest signatures may be identified during the optimal period for symptom development of ocular estimation. The aerial survey is coordinated with known pest outbreaks so that the maximum extent of recent bark beetle damage (fading trees) and insect defoliation (discoloration, foliage loss) patterns may be determined. "IRMA," the Integration of Resource Management Applications, is the name given to the project that is guiding this transformation. The geographic information system (GIS) format spatial data set of vegetation for Buffalo National River (BUFF) was created for the National Park Service (NPS) Vegetation Inventory Program (VIP). The BUFF administrative boundary covers an area of nearly 38,000 ha. The map classification scheme used to create the vegetation data set is designed to represent local vegetation types at the finest level possible using the National Vegetation Classification Standard (NVCS) Version 2. This data is a model of potential habitat connectivity for the Mojave desert tortoise (Gopherus agassizii) for the Mojave Basin and Range ecoregion. This is a basic footprint assessment of anthropogenic features (urban development, roads, etc) intersect with the areas that were modeled by NatureServe to represent nine types of sensitive soils. This raster is used to answer the management question (MQ) regarding areas of low potential for renewable energy development (solar, wind, geothermal) that could potentially mitigate impacts to CEs from potential energy development in the Central Basin and Range Ecoregion. The value indicated in the raster represents a score between 0-100, the lower values indicating areas of poor landscape condition (ecological integrity). The higher the score, better landscape conditions are expected. This dataset contains the physical collection information (e.g., sample location, date, gear type) and microsatellite DNA genotype of egg and larval Lake Sturgeon collected in the St. Clair and Detroit rivers in 2015 and 2016. Individuals were genotyped for 18 microsatellite loci (13 disomic and 5 polysomic). Alleles (base pair sizes) were recorded as presence absence scores (1:present, 2:absent, 0:missing data) for all previously observed alleles. Thus individual genotypes were recorded as pseudo diploid dominant phenotypes resulting in individual vectors of length n=205 for each genotyped egg or larval individual.
