This dataset consists of the boundary extent used to evaluate regolith thickness, bedrock altitude, depth to water, potentiometric-surface altitude, and saturated thickness for the shallow groundwater system in the Lower Gunnison River Basin, in Delta, Montrose, Ouray, and Gunnison Counties, Colorado. The U.S. Geological Survey prepared this dataset in cooperation with the Colorado Water Conservation Board.

This geodatabase contains the official boundary of the Southeast Aquatic Resource Partnership with State Boundaries. The boundary was originally developed by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service and was updated in 2020 to reflect revisions from the Southeast Aquatic Resource Partnership, a recognized Fish Habitat Partnership (FHP) of the National Fish Habitat Partnership.

This data was created by the CPW GIS Unit. Property boundaries are created by dissolving CDOWParcels by the property name, and property type and appending State Park boundaries designated as having public access. All parcel data correspond to legal transactions made by the CPW Real Estate Unit. The boundaries of the CDOW Parcels were digitized using metes and bounds, BLM's GCDB dataset, the PLSS dataset (where the GCDB dataset was unavailable) and using existing digital data on the boundaries.

This dataset contains information on the boundaries, quadrangle names, and most recent revision and publication date of the source topographic maps by the USGS for their 1:250,000-scale series for Wyoming.
These ArcView shapefiles contain representations of the Hanna coal zone study limit boundaries in the Hanna coalfield, Hanna Basin, Wyoming. These shapefiles were created specifically for the National Coal Resource Assessment in the Northern Rocky Mountains and Great Plains Region.

This polygon depicts the area open for waterfowl hunting at Salinas River NWR. This dataset is used for mapping purposes only and all hunters should consult the refuge prior to engaging in hunting. Hunting seasons and other restrictions apply.
This data layer depicts lands and waters administered by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) in North America, U.S. Trust Territories and Possessions. It may also include inholdings that are not administered by USFWS. The primary source for this information is the USFWS Realty program.

In late 1996, the Dept of Conservation (DOC) surveyed state and federal agencies about the county boundary coverage they used. As a result, DOC adopted the 1:24,000 (24K) scale U.S. Bureau of Reclamation (USBR) dataset (USGS source) for their Farmland Mapping and Monitoring Program (FMMP) but with several modifications. Detailed documentation of these changes is provided by FMMP and included in the lineage section of themetadata. A dataset named cnty24k97_1 was made available (approximately 2004) through the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection - Fire and Resource Assessment Program (CDF - FRAP) and the California Spatial Information Library (CaSIL). In late 2006, the Department of Fish and Game...

Dataset was clipped to the original WLCI Area of Interest, effective 2007-May 2009, by USGS staff. This layer is based on Geographic Coordinate Data Base (GCDB) coordinate data. The locations of Public Land Survey System (PLSS) corners, as represented in geographic coordinate pairs, were derived from a variety of source documents, which include U.S. General Land Office and BLM survey plats/notes, as well as survey data obtained from other U.S. Government agencies, private sector survey firms, and local governments. The attributes assigned to Public Land Survey System (PLSS) polygons were taken from the BLM's Legal Land Description (LLD) data set, contained within the Legacy Rehost for the year 2000 (LR2000) automated...

The data contained in this file is one of several datasets produced in support of the project entitled “Classification and Mapping of Cave and Karst Resources” for the region encompassing the Appalachian Landscape Conservation Cooperative (LCC). The results of this project are divided into a series of geospatial information layers (shapefiles and raster data). The files provide a comprehensive overview of data availability on obligate cave-dwelling fauna and bat ranges useful for examining relationships between environmental factors and biological diversity and distribution within karst areas of the Appalachian LCC.

All mining lease boundaries found in the Powder River Basin. This data layer has many overlapping polygon features and is thus more applicable if used as Arc/Info regions. Each region is attributed relating to the name of the coal mine utilizing the leased area. The data layer was originally produced by the Bureau of Land Management and distributed in an ASCII text format which was then converted into a GIS layer.

The Grizzly Bear Recovery Zone (GBRZ) for the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem (GYE) delineates the area inside the GYE where demographic and habitat criteria were applied, monitored, and evaluated to achieve recovered status of the Yellowstone grizzly bear population. The GBRZ was established by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) in 1993 as part of the Recovery Plan for grizzly bears in the lower 48 conterminous United States. The recovery zone boundary identifies the known distribution of bears at that time and encompasses seasonal habitats needed to support a recovered population. The GYE recovery zone spans portions of Montana, Idaho and Wyoming and includes parts of 5 National Forests (Beaverhead-Deerlodge,...
The Wind River Indian Reservation is an area encompassing approximately 9,000 square kilometers in northwest Wyoming shared by the Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho tribes of the Native American Indian Nations. The boundary feature was generated by the U.S. Geological Survey to represent the external boundary of the reservation at a scale of 1:500,000.

The grizzly bear distribution boundary represents the estimated geographic extent of occupied range of the Yellowstone grizzly bear population for the period 2004-2018. The distribution boundary was delineated to provide reliable estimations of grizzly bear occupancy throughout time and for use as a monitoring tool in grizzly bear management and conservation. The boundary was delineated by the Interagency Grizzly Bear Study Team (IGBST) using an interpolation method based on grizzly bear telemetry and GPS locations as well as verified observations and signs of grizzly bears inside the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem during 2004 to 2018.
