Ecological Unusually Sensitive Areas in Wyoming NOTE: RESTRICTED DATA. This dataset comprises Unusually Sensitive Areas (USAs) data for ecological resources in the state of Wyoming. In accordance with pipeline safety laws (49 U.S.C. Section 60109), PHMSA is required to identify areas unusually sensitive to environmental damage in the event of a hazardous liquid pipeline accident. Through interactions with various regulatory agencies, pipeline operators, private contractors, non-profit conservation organizations, and the general public, a process has been developed and adopted by PHMSA to identify USAs for ecological resources.
