This dataset provides an estimate of aquatic intactness (i.e. condition or integrity) across the Bon Cuthrout Trout C's potential distribution. Current aquatic intactness estimates are based on the extent to which human impacts such as water demand, agriculture, urban development, natural resource extraction, dams, diversions, and alterations have disrupted the hydrology, water quality, and habitat quality of aquatic systems across the state of Utah and the Colorado Plateau. Aquatic intactness values will be high in areas where these impacts are low. This HUC6 (12-Digit NHD Hydrologic Unit Code) resolution dataset was created for the Colorado Plateau REA stepdown analysis using the open-source logic modeling framework...

This dataset represents the estimated historical distribution of Colorado River Cutthroat Trout across Utah and the the Colorado Plateau Ecoregion, based on Trout Unlimited's Conservation Success Index (CSI) data.Note, data were not available for the southeastern corner of the study site; please be aware of this gap in coverage. Conservation Success Index:Trout Unlimited developed the Conservation Success Index (CSI) in order to become more strategic and effective in our conservation efforts. Using the CSI, we can quantify and map the conservation status of all native coldwater fishes so that comparisons of existing condition, threats, future security, and management opportunities can be made across watersheds,...

The biologically significant unit (BSUs) were revised in April 2019, creating the most up-to-date version of this dataset. A BSU is a geographical/spatial area within greater sage-grouse habitat that contains relevant and important habitats which is used as the basis for comparative calculations to support evaluation of changes to habitat. This BSU unit, or subset of this unit, is used in the calculation of the anthropogenic disturbance threshold and in the adaptive management habitat trigger. BSU feature classes were submitted by individual states/EISs and consolidated by the Wildlife Spatial Analysis Lab. They are sometimes referred to as core areas/core habitat areas in the explanations below, which were consolidated...

This product is as subset of a legacy dataset and is included in the REA publication as it was used in the analysis for the Colorado Plateau REA. The legacy dataset was not part of the GRSG official HMA designations or planning process in 2015. For the most current version of sage-grouse habitat delinations assiciated with BLM Land Use Plans please visit the Greater Sage Grouse page on the Landscape Approach Data Portal. Updated in December, 2012 to the National Sage-grouse Planning Effort area. Canada, Washington, and Bi-State Distinct Population Segment areas were removed. Original versions exist in the 'Wildlife/Data' Sage-grouse directories at the NOC. This spatial dataset represents modeled occupied greater...

Sage-grouse habitat areas divided into proposed management categories within Nevada and California project study boundaries. HABITAT CATEGORY DETERMINATION The process for category determination was directed by the Nevada Sagebrush Ecosystem Technical team. Sage-grouse habitat was determined from a statewide resource selection function model and first categorized into 4 classes: high, moderate, low, and non-habitat. The standard deviations (SD) from a normal distribution of RSF values created from a set of validation points (10% of the entire telemetry dataset) were used to categorize habitat ‘quality’ classes. 1) High quality habitat comprised pixels with RSF values < 0.5 SD. 2) Moderate > 0.5 and < 1.0 SD. 3)...

Surveys for immature life stages of the Samoan swallowtail butterfly (Papilio godeffroyi) were conducted on 117 individually marked host trees (Micromelum minutum) in eight forest stands on Tutuila Island, American Samoa, at approximately monthly intervals during 2013-2014. The eight stands were mostly in or adjacent to the National Park of American Samoa (NPSA), but one stand was sampled near the western tip of Tutuila, outside NPSA. An additional 74 host trees were assessed for phenological status in the eight stands but were not surveyed for Papilio. The dataset contains information on physical and habitat characteristics of the 191 total trees.

The PFLCC has recently completed a set of comprehensive conservation planning scenarios for the state of Florida. This represents the first statewide effort to assess likely alternative futures for conservation considering an array of financial, biological, climatological and urbanistic conditions. These spatially explicit and temporal scenarios simulate both urban growth and climate change and identify the most suitable areas for conservation given the resulting land use pattern. Conservation allocations are based on both fee-title and conservation easements. The conservation priorities and mechanisms expressed in these scenarios are based on a wide set of contributing factors, and simulated conservation is purposefully...
