Located in the northern tropical Pacific Ocean, Majuro is the capital of the Republic of the Marshall Islands. Majuro Atoll consists of a large, narrow landmass and a set of smaller perimeter islands surrounding a lagoon that is over 100 square miles in size. The waters surrounding the Majuro Atoll land areas are relatively shallow with poorly mapped bathymetry. However, the Pacific Ocean on the exterior of the coral atoll and the lagoon within its interior consist of deep bathymetry with steep slopes. The highest elevation of the Majuro Atoll is estimated at only 3-meters above sea level, which is the island community of Laura located on the western part of the atoll. At the eastern edge of the atoll lies the capital...

The Water Resources Data System is a clearinghouse of hydrological and climatological data for the State of Wyoming. The water quality database can be searched by latitude and longitude, township and range, state and county, or by station number or name. Data are available in CSV file format.

Note: NED data can be accessed through The National Map (USGS). Instructions are available on The National Map Viewer homepage. The National Elevation Dataset (NED) is the primary elevation data product produced and distributed by the USGS. The NED provides the best available public domain raster elevation data of the conterminous United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and territorial islands in a seamless format. The NED is derived from diverse source data, processed to a common coordinate system and unit of vertical measure. All NED data are distributed in geographic coordinates in units of decimal degrees, and in conformance with the North American Datum of 1983 (NAD 83). All elevation values are provided in units of...

Abstract To aid in parameterization of mechanistic, statistical, and machine learning models of hydrologic systems in the contiguous United States (CONUS), flow-conditioned parameter grids (FCPGs) have been generated describing upstream basin mean elevation, slope, land cover class, latitude, and 30-year climatologies of mean total annual precipitation, minimum daily air temperature, and maximum daily air temperature. Additional datasets of upstream basin area and binary stream presence-absence are provided to help validate queries against the flow-conditioned data. These data are provided as virtual raster tile (vrt) mosaics of cloud optimized GeoTIFFs to allow point queries of the data (see Distribution Information)...

This shapefile represents the watersheds present within the Crown of the Continent Ecosystem (CCE) boundary.(Note: a different CCE boundary layer was used at the time of creation, so the area amounts within the CCE may not be accurate)This dataset was developed by the Crown Managers Partnership, as part of a transboundary collaborative management initiative for the Crown of the Continent Ecosystem, based on commonly identified management priorities that are relevant at the landscape scale. The CMP is collaborative group of land managers, scientists, and stakeholder in the CCE. For more information on the CMP and its collaborators, programs, and projects please visit: http://crownmanagers.org/

What this map layer shows: The locations of over 4,000 stream gaging stations that provide updated streamflow information to the National Atlas every few hours. Background Information The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Water Resources program, in cooperation with more than 800 Federal, State, and local agencies, operates a streamflow gaging-station network to collect nationally consistent information about the Nation's water resources and to help define and manage those resources. Individual stream-gaging stations are supported for specific purposes, such as water allocation, reservoir operations, or the regulation of permit requirements. However, the data are also used for flood hazard mitigation by the National...

Metadata created by USGS staff. Data downloaded from USGS WaterWatch (http://water.usgs.gov/waterwatch) 5/13/08. These data represent the locations of USGS streamgages. Please note: data tagged in the attributes represents conditions from the day the data was downloaded. See hyperlinked URL in attributes for current conditions at a streamgage. Original File Name: realstx The "Real-time streamflow" map tracks short-term changes (over several hours) in rivers and streams. Although the general appearance of the map changes very little from one hour to the next, individual sites may change rapidly in response to major rain events or to reservoir releases.

This data set is a complete digital hydrologic unit boundary layer to the Subwatershed (12-digit) 6th level for the State of Wyoming. This data set consists of geo-referenced digital data and associated attributes created in accordance with the "Federal Standards For Delineation of Hydrologic Unit Boundaries 12/06/01" (http://www.ftw.nrcs.usda.gov/huc_data.html). The data set was developed by digitizing watershed boundary lines using 1:24,000 Enhanced Digital Raster Graphics (DRG-E) geo-referenced topographic image base maps and 1:100,000-scale draft boundary lines. The National Elevation Dataset (NED) was used to produce the 1:100,000-scale preliminary draft boundaries. Polygons are attributed with hydrologic unit...
This Science Base Community is a home for data collected by unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) or drones and from non-contact sensors on fixed-mount and near-field platforms such as bridges, for water related projects. The goal is to make it easier to publish remotely sensed hydrologic data and create a collection of remotely sensed hydrologic data sets.

The objective of this project was to develop some basic stream classification attributes for the entire Southeast Aquatic Resources Partnership (SARP) region and to provide more detailed attributes in the eastern section of the SARP geography (9 states: AL, FL, GA, KY, NC, SC, TN, WV, VA) where additional data and modeling capacity was available. The final product is a mapped dataset of information linked to the NHDPlus medium resolution hydrography that can be used to classify stream reaches.
