This dataset consists of one table with annual counts from population plots of Black-legged Kittiwakes and Common Murres at two seabird nesting colonies on Gull and Chisik Islands in lower Cook Inlet, Alaska.
This dataset consists of one table with annual nesting productivity estimates for Black-legged Kittiwakes and Common Murres at two seabird nesting colonies on Gull and Chisik Islands in lower Cook Inlet, Alaska.
This dataset consists of one table with egg predation data from Common Murres at two seabird nesting colonies on Gull and Chisik Islands in lower Cook Inlet, Alaska.
Note: this data release has been superseded by version 2.0, available here: https://doi.org/10.5066/P9G8TM2S This dataset contains the number of captured individuals recorded for each amphibian species surveyed in all wetlands in the Cottonwood Lake Study Area, Stutsman County, North Dakota. While amphibians were the target of the surveys, reptiles (i.e., turtles, snakes) were also sometimes captured over the course of the surveys and are included in the data file.

The GCP LCC Steering Committee tasked the GCP LCC Science Team to reduce to 25 a list Surrogate Species (from a long list of Priority, and Focal Species) for use in conservation planning. Step one (1) would be to identify and retain a contractor to compile all identified conservation species lists, organize these lists of species, and condense these lists for the GCP LCC. The contractor would use existing species lists (e.g., Federal, State, Joint Ventures, Fish Habitat Partnerships, The Nature Conservancy, etc.) provided by the Science Team and other sources; the format and reduction through the use of Science team collaboration and specific criteria would be documented and summarized by the contractor. This process...

The cascade of uncertainty that underscores climate impact assessments of regional hydrology undermines their value for long-term water resources planning and management. This study presents a statistical framework that quantifies and propagates the uncertainties of hydrologic model response through projections of future streamflow under climate change. Different sources of hydrologic model uncertainty are accounted for using Bayesian modeling. The distribution of model residuals is formally characterized to quantify predictive skill, and Markov chain Monte Carlo sampling is used to infer the posterior distributions of both hydrologic and error model parameters. Parameter and residual error uncertainties are integrated...
