U.S. Geological Survey, in cooperation with Miami-Dade County, performed a sequential, aquifer stress test from August 15 to October 12, 2011, on the Floridan aquifer system at the North District Wastewater Treatment Plant, in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Miami-Dade County stressed the Floridan aquifer system with four municipal injection wells at the North District. The U.S. Geological Survey measured pressure with a Level TROLL 700 from August 15, 2011, to October 12, 2011, for the upper zone of Floridan aquifer system monitoring well FA-2. These data are part of a larger data set that describe the stress test at the North District (King, 2016, http://dx.doi.org/10.5066/F7QZ2819).

NHD data was originally developed at 1:100,000-scale and exists at that scale for the whole country. The Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) is the Federal standard for geographic nomenclature. The U.S. Geological Survey developed the GNIS for the U.S. Board on Geographic Names, a Federal inter-agency body chartered by public law to maintain uniform feature name usage throughout the Government and to promulgate standard names to the public. The GNIS is the official repository of domestic geographic names data; the official vehicle for geographic names use by all departments of the Federal Government; and the source for applying geographic names to Federal electronic and printed products of all types.
