This database contains literature citations and associated summaries pertaining to livestock grazing effects on amphibians and their habitats, with an emphasis on the Oregon spotted frog (Rana pretiosa) and other listed/sensitive wetland-breeding amphibians in the western United States. The dataset contains the recorded locations of amphibians collected in Southeast Alaska from 1867 to 2002. The records were compiled from 15 university and museum collections in the US and Canada. The data contain records for the following species: Northwestern Salamander, Long-toed Salamander, Roughskin Newt, Western Toad, Pacific Chorus Frog, Columbia Spotted Frog, Wood Frog, and the Red-legged Frog.
