Data were collected to determine the abundance of nitrogen-fixing microorganisms in Cladophora algae growing on rocks, breakwall structures, or submerged dreissenid mussel beds around southern Lake Michigan. Cladophora samples (N=33) were collected between June and September 2015 from three urban areas: (a) Jeorse Park, East Chicago, Indiana, (b) Calumet Beach, Chicago, Illinois, and (c) North Beach, Racine, Wisconsin, and a National Park site, Portage Lakefront, Indiana Dunes National Park, Indiana. This Excel workbook contains evapotranspiration (ET) data measured at two field sites near Bridgeport, California, from June 2012 through September 2013. One site consisted of irrigated dense pasture grass and was labeled as the Bridgeport high-density vegetation site (BPHV). The second site consisted of drier pasture grasses with patches of bare soil and was labeled as the Bridgeport low-density vegetation site (BPLV). The data measured include net radiation, latent heat flux, sensible heat flux, soil heat flux, soil water content, air temperature,water vapor density, wind speed, wind direction, and precipitation. This zip file contains spatial, descriptive and digital camera image data for a vegetation field dataset collected on the San Carlos Apache Reservation and surrounding area in Arizona, and used for analysis in the associated publication. Data consists of vector point data, vegetation community type, field observations, and digital camera images that correspond with the images in the associated directory. This field data was used, in addition to historical field data from the SWReGAP project, to characterize the accuracy of the vegetation maps generated by the techniques described in the associated publication. Multi Order Hydrologic Position (MOHP) raster datasets: Distance from Stream to Divide (DSD) and Lateral Position (LP) have been produced nationally for the 48 contiguous United States at a 30-meter resolution for stream orders 1 through 9. These data are available for testing as predictor variables for various regional and national groundwater-flow and groundwater-quality statistical models. The concept behind MOHP is that for any given point on the earth’s surface there is the potential for longer and longer groundwater flow paths as one goes deeper and deeper beneath the land surface.
