This data release contains environmental and quality control results for chemical, biological, and physical sampling of water and bed sediment from Albemarle Sound and associated tributaries between 2012 and 2014 referenced in USGS OFR 2016-1171. Appendix 1 contains all quality control results to characterize the bias and variability of sampling, handling, and analysis of water, phytoplankton, and bed sediment samples. Appendix 2 contains all the chemical, biological, and physical results for water samples collected in July and August of 2012. This ArcGIS shapefile shows the known locations of beaver dams in the Tualatin Basin. The dam location information was generated by multiple local agencies, groups, and organizations. The local sources had identified the beaver dams between 2011 and 2019. USGS worked with these local sources to combine all data into one inventory.

This data release contains compiled historical groundwater-withdrawal data for the Coastal Lowlands Aquifer System in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida from 1925 to 2018. Most groundwater-withdrawals were distributed to groundwater wells and separated into water-use categories of industrial, production wells, power generation, mining, domestic, irrigation, livestock or commercial. Groundwater-withdrawal data were obtained, where available, from existing database resources hosted by various State and Federal agencies. This publication provides digital flight line data for a high-resolution magnetic and radiometric survey over an area of northwest Arkansas. The airborne geophysical survey was jointly funded by the USGS National Cooperative Geologic Mapping Program and the Earth Mapping Resource Initiative and was designed to meet the complimentary needs related to geologic mapping and mineral resource research. This ArcGIS shapefile shows the known locations of beaver activity (including beaver chews, lodges, and dams) in the Tualatin Basin. USGS was intending to collect information about the locations of beaver dams. Often, the GPS coordinates of dams were not known, but the beaver-affected areas were known. The information about locations with beaver activity was generated by multiple local agencies, groups, and organizations. The local sources had identified the beaver activity locations between 2013 and 2016. USGS worked with these local sources to combine all data into one inventory.

USGS met with 13 local groups and organizations around the Portland, Oregon region to collect information regarding the locations of beaver dams in the Tualatin Basin. Water quality point measurements were collected by the U.S. Geological Survey within the main channel Willamette River and its off-channel features in the summer and autumn of 2015 and 2016.
