This ArcGIS shapefile shows the known locations of beaver dams in the Tualatin Basin. The dam location information was generated by multiple local agencies, groups, and organizations. The local sources had identified the beaver dams between 2011 and 2019. USGS worked with these local sources to combine all data into one inventory.

This publication provides digital flight line data for a high-resolution magnetic and radiometric survey over an area of northwest Arkansas. The airborne geophysical survey was jointly funded by the USGS National Cooperative Geologic Mapping Program and the Earth Mapping Resource Initiative and was designed to meet the complimentary needs related to geologic mapping and mineral resource research. In 1968, the Missouri Geological Survey (MGS) established the Operation Basement program to address three objectives: a) to obtain drill hole and underground mining data relative to the structure and composition of the buried Precambrian basement; b) to expand mapping in the Precambrian outcrop area and conduct research related to Precambrian geology and mineral resources; and c) to publish the results of the first two objectives in the Contribution to Precambrian Geology series (Kisvarsanyi, 1976). This ArcGIS shapefile shows the known locations of beaver activity (including beaver chews, lodges, and dams) in the Tualatin Basin. USGS was intending to collect information about the locations of beaver dams. Often, the GPS coordinates of dams were not known, but the beaver-affected areas were known. The information about locations with beaver activity was generated by multiple local agencies, groups, and organizations. The local sources had identified the beaver activity locations between 2013 and 2016. USGS worked with these local sources to combine all data into one inventory.

Apatite (Ca5(PO4)3(Cl/F/OH)) and rutile (TiO2) samples were collected by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) from the iron oxide-apatite-rare earth element (IOA-REE) and iron oxide-copper-gold (IOCG) deposits hosted by the Mesoproterozoic, St. Francois Mountains terrane, southeast Missouri. Samples were prepared and analyzed for direct age dating on a laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (LA-ICP-MS) system at the USGS in Denver, Colorado from May 2016 to June 2019.
