Water depths were measured during November 2015 and bathymetric elevations were computed for the lower Sixmile Creek reservoir in Ithaca, Tompkins County, N.Y. These data were used to create a bathymetric surface (TIN) of the reservoir. Data collected in 1938 were used to create a second TIN and a contour line shapefile. This dataset includes the ADCP-measured transect data and manually-measured point data collected by the U.S. Geological Survey, Ithaca, N.Y., during November 16-20, 2015, and the two bathymetric-surface TINS (for 1938 and 2015) and a 1938 contour line shapefile that were created by the GIS program, City of Ithaca, N.Y.

This data release contains model inputs used to estimate surface water greenhouse gas fluxes from two large arid reservoirs, Lake Powell and Lake Mead. The release also contains empirical, spatially explicit water quality and greenhouse gas data from a single field survey conducted in Lake Powell in July of 2017. Finally, this release contains surface area estimates of shallow (< 15m) tributary regions of Lake Powell under different water level scenarios.
In July 2023, the U.S. Geological Survey Alaska Science Center (USGS ASC) and the USGS Idaho Water Science Center (IDWSC), in cooperation with Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (AKDOT & PF), completed bathymetric and topographic surveys at four highway bridge structures using multibeam bathymetry and boat-mounted Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR). The National Bridge Inventory structure number 524 on the Tanana River near Big Delta, AK is located on Alaska State Route 2 (commonly referred to as the Richardson Highway). Structure number 201 on the Tanana River near Nenana, AK is located on Alaska State Route 3 (commonly referred to as the Parks Highway). Structure number 254 on the Susitna...

These are survey data for the Forest City Dam at the Outlet to East Grand Lake on the St. Croix River between Maine and Canada. And they are bathymetric data surrounding the outlet dam collected with an Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP)

Water depths for the lower Sixmile Creek reservoir in Ithaca, Tompkins County, N.Y. that were measured during 1938 were found in the files of the GIS Program, City of Ithaca. This agency computed bathymetric elevations and created a bathymetric surface (TIN) of the reservoir.

The 'Channel Width' shapefile data are measurements of the active channel width of the Green River at 1-km intervals in and near Canyonlands National Park, Utah. The active channel was defined as the area of the wetted, or inundated, channel as visible on aerial photographs plus the area of bare (free of vegetation) sand and gravel bars. The active channel for each aerial photograph series was hand digitized on a computer screen in ArcGIS version 9.2. The 'Mineral Bottom' csv data are river channel cross-sections for a 3-km study reach of the Green River upstream from Mineral Bottom, Utah. The study reach is near the mouth of Hell Roaring Canyon, 5 km upstream from the Mineral Bottom boat ramp, which is 85 km upstream...
