The U.S. Geological Survey collected geomorphic monitoring data in cooperation with the Upper Colorado River Wild and Scenic Stakeholder Group. This data release contains cross-section geometry and sediment-size distribution data collected from five sites on the Upper Colorado River, Colorado during April 6-8, 2022. The five sites selected for monitoring were located at the Pumphouse Recreation Area, Radium Recreation Site, State Bridge, above Catamount, and below Sweetwater Creek. A cross section was surveyed at each site using real-time kinematic Global Navigation Satellite System survey methods to document the channel geometry.
