Inland Cutthroat Trout Protocol (ICP) Web-mapping Application: Native Cutthroat Trout Data Compilation and Internet Database Development The Colorado River Cutthroat Trout (CRCT) conservation team identified a need to further develop a long-term approach to updating and maintaining the CRCT GIS-based database that was created using the Inland Cutthroat Trout Protocol (ICP). The University of Wyoming Geographic Information Science Center was contracted to develop a multi-state, web-based database and a web-based application for viewing and editing the data to aid in conservation activities. Previously, Colorado, Utah and Wyoming all used separate, desktop databases that could not be shared with partnering agencies nor updated for all users simultaneously.
