This data release provides 64 forecasted water budget simulations for the Mississippi Embayment Regional Aquifer System (MERAS) during the period 2019 to 2055. Gridded daily data (1-kilometer resolution) include net infiltration (potential groundwater recharge), rejected net infiltration, interception, runoff, runoff outside (runoff that cannot be routed downslope), irrigation, actual evapotranspiration, minimum and maximum temperatures, and gross precipitation. The gridded representations of water budget components are output from USGS Soil-Water-Balance (SWB) model (Nielsen and Westenbroek, 2023; Westenbroek and Nielsen, 2023) simulations in netcdf4 format, and all water budget components are in inches. This includes inverted electrical resistivity data, model resolution from the inversion, point moisture information, and conductivity-saturation calibration information. The data are from a field site in Coventry, CT outfitted with five, Decagon 5TE moisture probes, arranged along a 28 m transect at different depths. The SARP Flow Alteration Assessment provides a regional characterization of the distribution and risk of flow regime impairment of streams and rivers by anthropogenic sources at the NHD+ segment scale. Spreadsheets of Tooele, Parowan, and Goshen Valley historical power consumption coefficients for active irrigation wells as of 2016 measured by U.S. Geological Survey, Utah Water Science Center, hydrologic technicians. The power consumption coefficients included in this data release were transcribed from paper format to electronic format. The coefficient of variation is included in this data set for wells with more than three historical power consumption coefficients. These data (vector and raster) were compiled for spatial modeling of salinity yield sources in the Upper Colorado River Basin (UCRB) and describe different scales of watersheds in the Upper Colorado River Basin (UCRB) for use in salinity yield modeling. Salinity yield refers to how much dissolved salts are picked up in surface waters that could be expected to be measured at the watershed outlet point annually. Past land use changes have greatly impacted global water resources, with often opposing effects on water quantity and quality. Increases in rain-fed cropland (460%) and pastureland (560%) during the past 300 years from forest and grasslands decreased evapotranspiration and increased recharge (two orders of magnitude) and streamflow (one order of magnitude). However, increased water quantity degraded water quality by mobilization of salts, salinization caused by shallow water tables, and fertilizer leaching into underlying aquifers that discharge to streams. This shapefile represents the spatial distribution of mean annual water-budget components, in inches, for the Island of Oahu, Hawaii. The water-budget components in the shapefile were computed by a water-budget model for a scenario representative of current conditions (2001-10 rainfall and 2001-10 land cover), as described in USGS Scientific Investigations Report (USGS SIR) 2015-5164. The model was developed for estimating groundwater recharge and other water-budget components for each subarea of the model. Under state law, the Department of Ecology (Ecology) is responsible for regulating dams that capture and store at least 10 acre-feet (about 3.2 million gallons) of water or watery materials such as mine tailings, sewage and manure waste. Ecology's Dam Safety Office currently oversees about 870 dams across the state. Through plan reviews and construction inspections, the agency helps ensure these facilities are properly designed and constructed. To reasonably secure the safety of human life and property, Ecology also conducts inspections of existing dams to assure proper operation and maintenance.
