This dataset includes hourly stream temperature data for 139 temperature logger sites throughout the Lahontan Basin Region of Northern Nevada and Eastern California. Data loggers were part a study beginning in 2017, with data available through 2019 for most locations. The spatial data layer contains site locations, geographic information, data summaries, mean August stream temperatures, and modeled NorWeST stream temperatures. The Wet-Dry delineation file contains daily flow status estimates derived from stream temperature data for each site. The Site Visit file contains the date and time of the site visit along with associated information on site flow conditions, water depths, logger conditions, and stream logger...

This dataset includes electrical resistance data from a network of 50 data loggers that was installed throughout the Willow-Whitehorse watershed of SE Oregon in September 2014. Data loggers were downloaded in August 2015 and September 2016. These data loggers were used as “electrical resistance” (ER) sensors, following Chapin et al. 2014. The sensors were Onset HOBO Pendant temperature data loggers that were modified to monitor streamflow intermittency and determine the timing of stream drying.

This dataset includes stream temperatures from two data loggers installed at one site in the Little Blitzen River of SE Oregon as part of a redband trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss gairdnerii) study. The site was used as an undisturbed reference in comparison with similar temperature monitoring sites in the Willow-Whitehorse watershed that experienced a 2012 fire that burned nearly the entire watershed.

This dataset includes temperature and pressure data from 26 sites in the HJ Andrews Experimental Forest in western Oregon. Stream and Air data loggers were deployed in June of 2020 and downloaded in October 2020. The HJ_Andrews_Temperature file contains temperature data (in C°) by logger serial number, site, and usage for the study period. The HJ_Andrews_Pressure file contains pressure data (in kPa) by logger serial number, site, and usage for the study period. The HJ_Andrews_Points spatial data layer contains site locations, geographic information, data summaries, and mean August stream temperatures. The HJ_Andrews_Wet_Dry delineation file contains daily flow status estimates derived from stream and air temperature...

This Data Release includes records of stream temperature during summer months of 2019 (10 sites) and records of Blue Ridge sculpin (Cottus caeruleomentum) weight for fish held in experimental enclosures for 45 days during the temperature sampling period (5 sites).

This dataset includes georeferenced, high-resolution, airborne thermal infrared (TIR) and high-resolution true-color imagery, a polyline shapefile of the channel centerline, a polyline shapefile with TIR sample points for longitudinal stream temperature profiles, and a tabular file with longitudinal stream temperature profiles for the Donner und Blitzen River and its tributaries, Oregon. The aerial TIR surveys were conducted with a helicopter by NV5 Geospatial and are published as 17 raster mosaics in GeoTiff format with a resolution of 0.3 meters (m). The TIR mosaics contain corrected surface temperatures in degrees Celsius (C) (multiplied by 10 to create an unsigned integer pixel type). The longitudinal stream...

This GIS dataset is the primary data product produced for the NW Climate Science Center-funded project, "Rangewide climate vulnerability assessment for threatened Bull Trout" (FRESC Study ID 851). We used predictions of temperatures in streams across approximately two-thirds of the species' range in the U.S. to map coldwater streams or “patches” suitable for spawning and early rearing of Bull Trout. Each patch consists of streams with contiguous reaches of cold water. Patches were delineated using medium resolution National Hydrography Dataset streams containing modeled temperatures available at 1 km intervals, as provided by the NorWeST project (http://www.fs.fed.us/rm/boise/AWAE/projects/NorWeST.html).Once the...
The Interactive Catchment Explorer (ICE) is a dynamic visualization interface for exploring catchment characteristics and environmental model predictions. ICE was created for resource managers and researchers to explore complex, multivariate environmental datasets and model results, to identify spatial patterns related to ecological conditions, and to prioritize locations for restoration or further study. ICE incorporates stream temperature and brook trout occurrence models for headwaters of the Northeast, including projections of the potential effects of climate change. ICE is part of the Spatial Hydro-Ecological Decision System (SHEDS).

This project, with funding support by the North Pacific Landscape Conservation Cooperative andpartners, will address the need to better understand the impact that climate change will have on oursalmon subsistence resources in southeast Alaska. Working with federal and state agencies, as well ascommunity-based organizations and tribal governments, this project will 1) build a network that supportslocal organizations in their efforts to collect stream temperature data, and 2) coordinate those efforts sothat the data will inform and empower management agencies, researchers, and communities to adapt tochanging conditions for fish in the freshwater stages of their lifecycles.

This dataset includes spatial location information from 167 temperature data loggers that were installed throughout the Willow/Rock/Frazer watersheds of northern Nevada between July 30 and August 14, 2015. One hundred twelve data loggers were installed in stream channels (some of which were dry), 50 data loggers were installed outside the stream channel to measure air temperature, and 5 data loggers were installed on ridgetops to measure air temperature across the watershed.

The following files are designed to be run using the Path Landscape Model software, version 3.0.4. Later versions of the software cannot run these files. To get a copy of this software, please contact Apex RMS at path@apexrms.com. 1) Path models MUST be run with the provided .MCM and .trd mulitplier files to apply the required transition probability adjustments for procesess such as insect outbreaks, wildfire, and climate change trends. Each Path database is set up with three folders: - The 'Common' folder contains a single Path scenario (also named 'Common'). The Transitions tab within the Common scenario contains the climate-smart STM. - The 'Multipliers' folder contains multipliers specific to each ownership-allocation...

This dataset includes stream temperatures from a network of 112 data loggers that was installed in stream channels throughout the Willow/Rock/Frazer watersheds of northern Nevada between July 31 and August 15, 2015. Ninety-seven data loggers were recovered and downloaded in late July 2016.

A “gateway” using Data Basin technology has been developed to serve the data integration, collaboration and outreach needs of the NPLCC. The gateway will continue to be a customized interface of the Data Basin platform that includes special branding, curation of spatial content, and direct links to selected sites in support of projects funded by and for the NPLCC . Conservation Biology Institute will add to the “gateway” a spatial data visualization tool to showcase priority data from the Pacific Marine and Estuarine Fish Habitat Partnership.

This model archive provides all data, code, and modeling results used in Barclay and others (2023) to assess the ability of process-guided deep learning stream temperature models to accurately incorporate groundwater-discharge processes. We assessed the performance of an existing process-guided deep learning stream temperature model of the Delaware River Basin (USA) and explored four approaches for improving groundwater process representation: 1) a custom loss function that leverages the unique patterns of air and water temperature coupling resulting from different temperature drivers, 2) inclusion of additional groundwater-relevant catchment attributes, 3) incorporation of additional process model outputs, and...
The following spreadsheets contain pressure and temperature recorded by the barologgers (atmospheric measure) and leveloggers (stream measure) at each stream gauge. Temperature and pressure from stream gauges are needed to calculate discharge, which was in turn needed to calibrate the hydrologic model used in this project.

This data release and model archive provides all data, code, and modelling results used in Topp et al. (2023) to examine the influence of deep learning architecture on generalizability when predicting stream temperature in the Delaware River Basin (DRB). Briefly, we modeled stream temperature in the DRB using two spatially and temporally aware process guided deep learning models (a recurrent graph convolution network - RGCN, and a temporal convolution graph model - Graph WaveNet). The associated manuscript explores how the architectural differences between the two models influence how they learn spatial and temporal relationships, and how those learned relationships influence a model's ability to accurately predict...
