The High Resolution National Hydrography Dataset Plus (NHDPlus HR) is an integrated set of geospatial data layers, including the best available National Hydrography Dataset (NHD), the 10-meter 3D Elevation Program Digital Elevation Model (3DEP DEM), and the National Watershed Boundary Dataset (WBD). The NHDPlus HR combines the NHD, 3DEP DEMs, and WBD to create a stream network with linear referencing, feature naming, "value added attributes" (VAAs), elevation-derived catchments, and other features for hydrologic data analysis. The stream network with linear referencing is a system of data relationships applied to hydrographic systems so that one stream reach "flows" into another and "events" can be tied to and traced...

Streamflow was collected at various streamgages in western Pennsylvania in support of the scientific investigations report "Estimation of Base Flow on Ungaged, Periodically Measured Streams in Small Watersheds in Western Pennsylvania". Data were selected for the development of 12 regressions to examine the differences between prediction intervals when runoff-influenced data were included in the data selection and when it was not. This dataset includes 1) data used to develop prediction intervals for the titled estimation site based upon the titled index streamgage, 2) zero streamflow information, and 3) evaluation of the prediction interval with non-runoff influenced data. For prediction interval development a Move.1...

The locations of approximately 23,000 current and historical U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) streamgages in the United States and Puerto Rico (with the exception of Alaska) have been snapped to the medium resolution National Hydrography Dataset (NHD). The NHD contains geospatial information about mapped surface-water features, such as streams, lakes, and reservoirs, etc., creating a hydrologic network that can be used to determine what is upstream or downstream from a point of interest on the NHD network. An automated snapping process made the initial determination of the NHD location of each streamgage. These initial NHD locations were comprehensively reviewed by local USGS personnel to ensure that streamgages were...
This file (wymt_ffa_2018A_WATSTORE.txt) contains peak flow data for 2 peak-flow frequency analyses for Elk Creek at Augusta, Montana, based on data through water year 2018. The file is in a text format called WATSTORE (National Water Data Storage and Retrieval System) available from NWISWeb (http://nwis.waterdata.usgs.gov/usa/nwis/peak).
