As part of a cooperative study by the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) and the U.S. Geological Survey, topographic surveys of stream channel cross-sections, upstream and downstream of selected new culvert installations in the East Gulf Coastal Plain of Alabama, were conducted both before and after culvert construction.
