Rural addresses that are assigned by the county are used by 911 system to find you in case of an emergency. If your property doesn’t have an address, or has an incorrect address it can delay the arrival of help during an emergency. If you purchase rural property in Fremont County, you will need to contact the Planning Department to get a rural address (a.k.a. physical address, or fire number) assigned to it. Even if you are buying property that has an already existing house or business on it, you should check with the Planning Department to make sure there is an address assigned to it. If you are planning to build on your property, be aware that some utility services will not install stubs/lines of service to your...

The U.S. Geological Survey collected topographic data in cooperation with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to assist in the management of two recreation areas at Blue Mountain Lake and near Nimrod Lake in Arkansas. Data were collected March 3-4, 2020 using terrestrial light detection and ranging (T-lidar) surveying equipment, Global navigation Satellite System (GNSS) surveying equipment, and conventional surveying techniques. The surveyed locations had a parking area, boat ramp, and some small recreational structures. Each site was surveyed using a FARO 3D tripod-mounted T-lidar unit. Additionally, a topographic survey was conducted in order to georeference the lidar survey. These topographic data were collected...

Historical and projected suitable habitat of 14 tree and shrub species a under CCSM4 GCMs from 2000 to 2099 was predicted to assess projected climate change impacts in forest communities of North Central U.S. We obtained presence/absence record of each species from Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA) data. required ata. Historical tme period ranges from 1971 to 2000, and projected time period ranges from 2071 to 2100. Random Forest was used to project historical and future suitable habitat of all species across West U.S. using the Biomod2 software programmed in R environment. We adopted a climate change scenarios generated from the experiments conducted under fifth assessment of Coupled Model Intercomparison Project...

A polygon dataset of current road footprints in the SNK REA derived from the Alaska Department of Natural Resources infrastructure data (see the process steps for details). (This data depicts infrastructure locations in Alaska as digitized primarily from 1:24,000, 1:63,360, and 1:250,000 USGS quadrangles. The source document that represented the newest information and best geographic location was used to capture the data. All infrastructure from the primary source document was digitized and then supplemented with the information from other source documents for additional or updated infrastructure or attributes.)

A line dataset of current (abandoned) and future railroads in the SNK REA - derived from the Alaska Infrastructure 1:63,360 line data set with modifications (see the process steps for details). This data depicts infrastructure locations in Alaska as digitized primarily from 1:24,000, 1:63,360, and 1:250,000 USGS quadrangles. The source document that represented the newest information and best geographic location was used to capture the data. All infrastructure from the primary source document was digitized and then supplemented with the information from other source documents for additional or updated infrastructure or attributes.

This data set contains distances between anthropogenic features and grasslands classified into three categories based on metrics from KEA tables in the Middle Rockies Ecoregion. Antrhropogenic fetures include roads, electrical transmission lines, housing density, wind turbine, and oil and gas wells, This data is intended for use at the ecoregional level and was derived from spatial environmental attributes and grasslands locations.

This dataset provides a measure of near-term high development, as an integration of several factors representing landscape development. This measure was calculated using a fuzzy logic model, which is represented in graphical format in \Vector\Change_Agents\Development\Documentation\COP_DV_logic_models.pptx This dataset represents the combination of energy, agriculture, urban, and recreation development. Original source data were summarized to 4KM reporting unit, and converted to fuzzy values (rescaled on a -1 to 1 value range) for input to the fuzzy logic model. These data include: utility lines, pipelines (from BLM), oil/gas wells (from BLM), oil/gas well anticipated development (from Holly Copeland 2009), mines...

This dataset shows the current distribution of Colorado Plateau Pinyon-Juniper Woodland (NatureServe Landcover) within the context of current and near-term terrestrial intactness and long-term potential for energy development and potential for climate change (4KM reporting units). Current terrestrial intactness is based on current measures of landscape development, fire regime and vegetation impacts, and fragmentation. Near-term intactness includes estimates of urban growth and expansion of invasive vegetation. Long-term potential for energy development is based on areas of potential for wind, solar, and petroleum development derived from multiple sources. Long-term potential for climate change is based on absolute...

This raster is used to answer management questions (MQs) about where conservation elements (CEs) overlap with areas of high wind energy potential in the Mojave Basin and Range Ecoregion. The value indicated in the raster represents a normalized score between 0-1, the lower the value the few species and poorer modeled landscape condition (ecological integrity) expected. The higher the score, the more species and higher condition are expected. This layer seeks to address an article in the BLM Statement of Work 1.1.1 stated, Areas with High Potential for Renewable Energy Development (Required) (The Contractor shall a) locate areas identified (e.g., by DOE, USGS) as suitable for wind, solar, geothermal, and biomass...
