Energy Map of Southwestern Wyoming, Coal and Wind This dataset was compiled and published as a service definition for the purpose of display in an interactive web map of the Wyoming Landscape Conservation Initiative (WLCI). The data layers selected for the dataset are a subset of the data layers in USGS Data Series 683, the Energy Map of Southwestern Wyoming, Part A - Coal and Wind (2012). Species boundaries were defined as the total extent of a species geographic limits. This raster largely used species range data from "U.S. Geological Survey - Gap Analysis Project Species Range Maps CONUS_2001", however in order for a more complete picture of species richness, additional sources were used for species missing from the Gap Analysis program.
