The data in this release were used to help evaluate and understand the distribution of fish and invertebrates as well as ecological response to streamflow, water temperature, and water chemistry within the Fountain Creek Basin. This data release consists of invertebrate data collected between 1985 and 2022, fish data collected between 2003 and 2022, as well as the data neccesary to recreate the tables and figures in the associated U.S. Geological Survey Scientific Investigations Report (http://dx.doi.org/10.3133/sirXXXXXXXX). See Zuellig and others (2022) for sampling methodology and site information.
These data provide spatial information about USGS 3D Elevation Program (3DEP) Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) and Data Collaboration Announcement (DCA) lidar data acquisition projects from Fiscal Year (FY) 2015 to present, including the FY, state, project name, project size, award recipient, lidar quality level (QL), contracting mechanism, and project description.

This data release provides documentation on the input and output files used in the tomographic imaging done in this study. This includes the station, location and arrivaltime input files to the tomography and the output relocations and resulting P- and S-wave images. The output results are relocated seismicity, tomographic velocity models (P and S-wave). We included a file containing coordinate information (latitude, longitude, elevation) of all California seismic stations, some of which are used in this study. Note that we did not use the S-wave imaging results in the study of Furlong et al. (2024)--see reference below. Checkerboard reconstructions are also provide, which includes the input and output models....

The timing of biological events in plants and animals, such as migration and reproduction, is shifting due to climate change. Anadromous fishes are particularly susceptible to these shifts, as they are subject to strong seasonal cycles when transitioning between marine and freshwater habitats to spawn. We used linear models to determine the extent of phenological shifts in adult alewife (Alosa pseudoharengus) as they migrated from ocean to freshwater environments during spring to spawn at 12 sites along the northeast U.S. We also evaluated broad-scale oceanic and atmospheric drivers that trigger their movements from offshore to inland habitats including sea surface temperature (SST), North Atlantic Oscillation index,...

This is a dataset containing aggregated non-native plant occurrence and abundance data for the contiguous United States. We used these data to develop habitat suitability models for species found in the Eastern United States using locations with 5% cover or greater. We adapted the INHABIT modeling workflow (Young et al. 2020), using a consistent set of climatic predictors that were important in the INHABIT models. We developed models using five algorithms with VisTrails: Software for Assisted Habitat Modeling [SAHM 2.2.2]. We accounted for sampling bias by using the target background approach, and constructed model ensembles using the five models for each species for three different thresholds (conservative to targeted;1st...
