Most of the samples were analyzed for gold, platinum, and palladium by atomic absorption with a fire assay preconcentration at Bondar Clegg. A few samples were analyzed by inductively coupled argon plasma spectroscopy or fire assay at the BOM Reno Research Center. Silver concentrations were determined by either atomic absorption or fire assay. Atomic absorption was used to determine the amounts of copper, nickel, and cobalt.

Three to 10 grams of each concentrate were used for analysis. The results of the four fractions were combined to give the total sample assay. Petrographic analysis of the concentrates was performed to determine the mineral content of each concentrate. The results of the four fractions were combined to give the total sample mineral percents.

The magnetic separated product was also weighed. Acid soluble iron, equivalent TiO2, and radiometric uranium equivalent analyses were completed. The samples that contained insufficient heavy mineral to table were only screened to minus ten mesh before the Acid soluble iron, equivalent TiO2, and radiometric uranium equivalent analyses were completed. Gold and platinum analyses were made on samples in which more than trace amounts were observed in the field.
